Artist: Laddie John Dill, American, (1943) -

Two horizontally oriented trapezoids intersect a vertical trapezoid, all in sculpted and painted (black, red, orange, yellow, white, green) in oil on epoxy bas-relief against a black, white, blue, and green oil-painted field, all of which is laid down on a mahogany skin, which is in turn laid down on plywood. It is signed on the reverse side: 'Laddie John Dill 1999 "Death in Venice"'.
