Colima Seated Shaman

A Colima seated figure of a shaman in
a trance-like state, wearing the 'Horn of Power'
headdress and a shell-collar necklace.
He holds a rattle in his left hand.
With burnished brown clay, black pigments,
and hollow body, the shaman is
in nearly perfect condition.

Protoclassic, circa
100 B.C. to A.D. 250.
