B-150 A UNIQUE COLIMA JAGUAR WITH CONJOINED MALE FIGURES RIDING ON ITS BACK

This toothy jaguar with two male figures conjoined upon its back with janiform heads, one facing forward, the other in reverse. Male sex is indicated on each figure, one with hands on the knees, the other figure with hands on belly.

Unknown Colima artist, Archaic Style, West Mexico, Late Preclassic, circa 300 B.C. to 100 B.C.
